Asbestos Insulation Debris at Finedon Infants School, Northamptonshire

An Asbestos Survey had identified asbestos insulation debris & residue in the 270m² school loft space.

The school required a full decontamination of the loft space to allow use of the area as much needed and valuable storage space

Jackson Environmental were appointed Principle Contractor for the asbestos removal and refurbishment works.

The School required that the works were completed by the start of the Autumn school term. It was a tight programme which required a large site team and careful planning.

We carried out the work in two asbestos proof enclosures phased to allow time for our in house restoration team to install new loft insulation and robust floor boarding, remove dilapidated lathe & plaster ceilings below the work areas and reinstate the removed ceilings.
